Rules are there to be broken

I wore shorts to school the other day !!

O m g...

What has happened to me? I used to be so bad ass. Now the only rule I'll break is a uniform reg.

At school you want to be quite relaxed, so I went for the standard slouchy jumper! When you're having a lazy day, mis-match jewellery to work the lazy look.

Jumper: Leigh Charity Shop - £3.49

DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT!

When it's time to drop it like it's hot, you want the right outfit. Nip slips and patches of perspirations are a no-no! Especially if you're looking to "pull".

We recommend something flirty and floaty, loose and leggy or tight and teasing.

Looking back, Ebony's nailed the party look whereas there are a couple of things with my outfit I wouldn't do again.

My Look:

The polka dot crop is cute and fun, prints like this make you look approachable. The gold metallic fabric is a trend that livens up a look and its lustrous sheen goes really well with the night time atmosphere.

Butttt, there's way too much skin on show. My excuse is that I was in a rush and fashionably late.

You should really only show two areas at the most. Don't show legs, arms and stomach like moi because it's too overwhelming.

Topshop Crop Top: £10

TopShop Dress: £40 down £15

Ebony's Look:

Do it like Eb and show a smidgen of midriff and accentuate the bust only.

The lacey insert attached to her bralet adds extra sexiness and attention to the chest area. Kimono's are very on trend this season, we spy that they'll be everyone's go to item for this summer's festival season. The tassels are great for partying, they just make everything a little more playful.

Topshop Kimono: £90
Urban Outfitters Shorts: £35
Vintage Bralet

Merci Beaucoup

Wear the sport luxe trend like Ebony, cool and casual. Stick to 1 or 2 main sporty items and keep the rest subtle. Ebony's chosen her kicks and jacket. She's lightened the theme with a modest tee and waxy leggings.

Do not...I repeat....do not wear tracksuit bottoms with this look. You'll be heading for a fashion car crash. Trackies are cool for a lazy day, but I personally think passing it off as sports luxe is cheating and an excuse for in denial fash hoes.

New Balance kicks are just starting to hit the fashion radars.

Wear them now and lead the fashion Pack. We predict they'll be the new creepers.

In the same way, it might take some time for them to be fully fledged mainstream footwear which is even better because you'll get more wear out of them. They'll be the kind of trend that will repeat a year because they're quite bold and unorthodox; just like creepers and brogues the before them and military boots the year before them!

Velvet Vixen

The more the merrier really encapsulates this outfit.

I mixed my thrifted velvet shirt with my sister's H n M skater skirt. My white bouclĂ© H n M Jacket added to the chicness for a cleaner, less grungy look. Also, check out the detail on my cuff!

Boy Meets Boy

£15/£20 Primark men's.

No one likes to admit it because it's uncool. But being able to style men's clothing is cool. It's an achievement to style a man, let alone men's clothing on a girl so it only makes sense.

I bought this jumper for my dad as a Christmas present. If I'm honest I kinda had a feeling I'd poach it! I'm so bad haha, bowling ball present or what...Papa Sam looks dope so I don't feel THAT bad.

I kept it simple by adding my new statement neck piece. The choice of bottoms was tricky for me. I wasn't sure whether to toughen it up or make it girly.

I wore my acid wash leggings to add to the masculine look with my soho beanie to do a match clash. I don't usually like to match, but by doing so it clashed if that makes sense. Because boy's do that, I feel like it made it more authentic as boys are less obedient/aware of fashion rules.

I could've gone for a girlier take on the boy meets girl trend and worn it over my acid wash body con skirt and possibly a belt, or with 15 denier tights for a sexier look with cute boots but I didn't feel like it. Too predictable. Maybe another time!

A Pirates Paradise

After work I always look in shops to spy some trends. I went into Topshop and saw a chest of triangular jewellery and still some hipstery piece sign bling. So I bought these two goodies from Troll for £4.50 and £2.50.

Tip: Going to unbranded/Outlet shops is a good and smart way to keep on trend whilst saving some money.

Another thing, jewellery is a great way to make a plain outfit look fashionable. If you can't always afford to sport the next big fashion fad then buying accessories help keep you stylish. We can't keep up to speed all the time! It's fine :)

I also went into T-K-Max and look what I found?!

Revon Neon nail varnishes for £8. See, keeping on trend but at a lower price than if I went into Super Drug or Boots. The pack came with a nude colour but it wasn't worthy, so each polish cost under £3, which is better than BarryM.
